This is one of the best pubs in Bath - great atmosphere, wonderful food, and so friendly to humans and dogs alike. It's just along from the Royal Victoria Park, and within walking distance of the Royal Crescent. In the summer the outdoor space is magical.

Great pub, friendly staff and atmosphere. Excellent food. With 3 outdoor terraces overlooking the River Avon there is no better place to be on a sunny day and in the colder weather, the interior is very cosy, with a roaring fire and flagstone floor. Dogs welcome in all areas and water always available for them. Also a good walk to hand along the tow path if your dog needs to work up a thirst!

A very dog friendly pub. It also accepts dogs in the above average bedroom accommodation. The food is good with a varied menu, dogs are allowed to be with you whilst you are eating. The village is picturesque and there are plenty of walks in the area. The locals were friendly, the landlord was chatty and serves a good breakfast too.
