They cater to all walkers, dogs accompanying, and provide the perfect spot to relax and rest weary bones. The courtyard is surrounded by old barns that have now been converted into lovely bedrooms; dogs are welcome everywhere and for the well behaved there are Scooby snacks.

Lovely location near Holyport village pond, although can be a bit noisy with the M4 close by. Nice garden area next to the pond and a small airy conservatory. Good food - including very tasty Belgian ice cream. No music, no pool table, no gambling machines. Originally called The Eagle but changed its name during World War II and took its new name from the place where most of the fighting was going on at the time! Dogs allowed throughout the pub.
