CHEDDINGTON The Old Swan

This is a typical thatched pub in a small village that offers a warm welcome to dogs. Doggie bowl and snacks are given. Georgian double-fronted, covered in wisteria and in the gorgeous, untouched village of Denham. Recently taken over by new owners and what a difference. The food is simply wonderful - they make this Shepherd's Pie from Braised Lamb Shoulder and the puddings are fantastic. Good Beer and they've always got 3 on the go plus 3 different lagers. Dogs must be on the lead but we went there and sat by the log fire, eating Roast Beef, you will want to stay all day.

A fantastic location for my 2 hour walk and I didn't have to be on the lead once! I was allowed to lie down next to my Mum and Dad in complete comfort in the Snug bar (but not the restaurant) Best to book before you go though as it is very popular.
