| BARTON The Hoops
A very friendly typical country pub. Lovely garden, open fire. No food available at present unfortunately but a very warm welcome for all dogs and their devoted owners. Yes we know food availability is one of our provisos but.... we like the sound of this pub! And Millie is the Boss. It acts as a social centre for Barton and surrounding villages. Worth a trip out from Cambridge if you are visiting and there is a cycle path all the way.

DUXFORD The Wheatsheaf

A light, airy and welcoming village pub. Dogs in the back bar only, with the pool table, but this is no real hardship, when the place is quiet. Good range of drinks, and the food is quite remarkable for the size of the place. The local walks are a little restricted, but you're not too far away from a very dynamic display airfield so you can take advantage of that - not too sure about how that affects doggie visitors though!

YAXLEY The Three Horseshoes

A fairly small, village style, pub, that offers a good range of food and drink. As its small it may be best to ask before taking your dog into this pub as if they are busy with diners the answer may be 'no'. However, there is a separate restaurant style area to sit in and a small pub garden out the back if no room in the inn. Although no good dog walks on the doorstep, 3 miles down the road (east) in Farcet is a wonderful area called Crown Lakes, which is excellent for dog-walking/swimming.
