This is very much a doggie pub! Dogs definitely add to the atmosphere of the pub. Biscuits are left in a sealed glass jar should they feel hungry and if they are thirsty they can drink from the marble water bowl that in it's previous life was a church font! This pub is tucked away on Wharf Hill, off Chesil Street in Winchester. Although well known in all the guides, it is still a traditional back-street boozer.
