This pub has recently been taken over and the new owners have done a fantastic job in being family and dog friendly (doggie biscuits and bowls provided for our use on request).
They also serve a full food menu at lunch times and in the evening and the food is some of the best in the area. The beers are great both real ale and larger. They have a large outside area but also a seperate childrens play area which comes in handy for those who like to keep kids and dogs seperate.

BRAMFIELD The Grandison

After a long walk it is a treat to come across this pub which is dog friendly. The Grandison describes itself as a 'village pub and dining rooms'. Once upon a time I am guessing it was just a village pub but current owners have turned it into a gourmet dining experience! Dogs are welcomed in the 'bar' area - which has about as many dining tables as the restaurant anyway. Almost everyone there was eating dinner when we visited - us included. The food is amazing - and priced accordingly as you would imagine, with much of the produce being locally sourced. Not only are they open all day every day - Fri to Sun they offer a special brunch, and they have a farm shop/deli attached next door too.
