| BARROWDEN The Exeter Arms

A great pub in a picturesque country village. Martin, the landlord welcomes dogs in the bar or outside decking areas. Good local food and fantastic real ales brewed in his on site micro-brewery.
Lots of wonderful walks in the area across fields or in woods.

EPPINGHAM The White Horse Inn

They allow well behaved pets i the bar and to stay over in booked rooms by prior arrangement. However they are not permitted to be with you during dining which might cause a problem for some. However the summer months are perfect for outdoor eating. Nice location and walks.

MORCOTT White Horse

We have been reliably informed by the chair of the Rutland branch of CAMRA (no less!) that this is one of the best in Rutland and was nominated for the Rutland pub of the year. Matt and Kim the publicans have 4 dogs of their own and welcome dogs in the bar area. It is a true village local and serves the best Sunday lunch for miles. Well worth a visit.

OAKHAM Grainstore
This is the brewery tap for Grainstore beer. It is very dog friendly with dog biscuits behind the bar.
The menu is basic but worth the stop just for the beer or while waiting for a train/ break your journey to excise your dog.
