Traditional busy family run village pub, the main bar is 600 years old with flagstone flooring set in an area of outstanding beauty and situated at the foot of the hills. A 15th century historical inn, the oldest pub in the medieval village of Dunster. STOGUMBER The White Horse Inn

Dog friendly landlord welcome an inspection/check up! No pub dog here, but plenty of dog locals, particularly in the winter shooting season. Dogs welcome to stay the night (by prior arrangement and only if accompanied by an adult) but we do make a £10 refundable deposit, just in case... Lovely walks around the village and the whole of the Quantock Hills a10 minute drive from the village. The garden is a patio affair, not lawned or bushed, so rather dull for dogs, and nor is there a pub cat to liven things up for 'em, but the meaty smells from the kitchen are wonderful!!
