border.gif (3K) DOGGIE PUBS
Find out where you and your best friend are welcome.

By their recommendations, like-minded people help to make DoggiePubs a useful, non-commercial guide to happy eating out with your dog.

Pubs get included by recommendation - they can't pay to be listed. Eager publicans earn their listings by being dog-friendly, that's all. Our reward is knowing how much this site is liked, and discovering more places where Millie will be welcome.

DUNGWORTH The Royal Hotel
star rating
The Royal is a very friendly country pub. It sells Tetleys and various guest beers, does en-suite B&B (which is also dog friendly), has superb views of the surrounding countryside, and hosts splendid carol singing sessions during the six week run up to Christmas. The b&b is dog friendly. B&B is in chalet type accommodation outside the pub. Regarding the pub itself, there is the usual dog friendly proviso. IE., dogs welcome as long as they behave themselves. Also the management ask that people check with them first. This is purely because they have two dogs of their own.

SHEFFIELD Devonshire Arms
star rating
Our (we think) first blind supporter tells us that he visits the Devolnshire Arms regularly with his guide dog on a regular basis and they do allow other dogs too. Apparently his current guide dog is due to be replaced in Febuary and the landlord likes him so much he is to be re-homed there! That must be a doggie vote of confidence, we think the beer is good too.
