| DUMFRIES The Coach and Horses
I went there recently with my little Border Collie. We received a warm welcome in the bar, where you can have coffee & nibbles or choose from the main menu and eat with your dog beside you. Very welcoming and no carpet on the floor so no need to worry about muddy paws and feet. Great cosy place to relax.

Overlooking the harbour, the Steam Packet has reputation for fantastic, fresh food. The fish arrives straight off the boats as they come in. Fine ales and a warm welcome are also on offer. Be sure to say hello to the landlord's dogs on your way through.
