A Godsend in an area of Wales where our DP supporters only found two other pubs that would allow dogs at all. Apart from such an essential life saver, the pub is a social hub of the picturesque town of Aberdyfi. It is set in the middle of town on the Dovey Estuary at the centre of the spectacular Welsh coastline.

A small pub off the A487 not far from Porthmadoc and Criccieth. Dogs are welcome in the bar and even the restaurant if there isn't room in the bar. Not an extensive menu but the food is excellent especially the vegetarian options. Open evenings and Sunday lunchtime. The owner has 2 dogs but they are not in the bar, you may hear them barking upstairs. Good dogs welcomed with biscuits.

This pub is in the middle of nowhere and landlord is dog friendly. They have 3 letting rooms – 2 double and a family (double and single bed). Clean and comfortable rooms with continental breakfast in the fridge in the room, and the dogs were welcome in the bar areas of the pub. Really good food.

This wonderful pub brews their own beer, they have a dog friendly campsite and have home made food . The lady brewer makes 3 or 4 different beers eryri gold 4.0% carmen sutra 4.4% the welsh highland bitter 5.2% and seasonal beers too. They welcome dogs in two of the three rooms. The dogs get to camp for free and there is a lovely river on site to walk along.,
