CAREW The Carew Inn

Very good, simply cooked food with the odd 'different' item - Ostrich steak is good. Guest beers from Local Microbreweries. Traditional puddings and they make their own chips- no frozen stuff. Located opposite Carew Castle so a stunning 1.5 mile walk round Castle and pond available to either sharpen your hunger or walk off the seriously generous portions. Dogs allowed in back small bar, covered marquee and beer garden. Food served lunch and evening in all above mentioned dog friendly areas.

FISHGUARD The Royal Oak

A really nice pub in the middle of Fishguard, old fashioned with low ceilings, great atmosphere and dog friendly too. Dogs are allowed in the bar and in the beer garden which has stunning views over Fishguard harbour and lower town. Friendly staff, water left out for dogs and really good food for the owners.

HAVERFORDWEST The Stonemason's Arms
I am the landlord of the above pub. We would never turn away a customer who wanted to bring their dog into the pub and have a beer. It's quite sad that the days of making the excuse of taking the dog for a walk and calling in for a drink are dying out. Our dog , Lillie is an English Bull Terrier and she is the best pub dog in the world !!

NEWGALE The Duke of Edinburgh

Because of its great location by Newgale Sands, this pub gets extremely busy in summer. Its staff are very friendly and it has a consistently good bar menu. Dogs are welcome in the bar but not in the restaurant and water will be provided. The pub serves a good selection of ales too and children are allowed.

RHYDOWEN Alltyrodyn Arms

It serves fantastic food which you can eat in the main bar, restaurant and garden. Very well behaved dogs are allowed in the restaurant area otherwise just in the bar area. A real ale pub with London pride as a regular and usually a couple of guest ones too. Nominated for CAMBRA awards. On the A475 in very small village, so hard to miss.

SAUNDERSFOOT The Old Chemist Inn

Possibly one of the only pubs in Pembrokeshire with a beer garden that backs onto the beach. Dogs are invited into the small but intimate bar and during quite times the lounge area. A traditional pub offering reasonably priced home-made pub grub, real ales, friendly people and an open fire in winter.

WOLFESCASTLE Wolfe Inn

Fantastic little pub just off A40, as you enter the village. Real olde worlde character, although it has been renovated and is smart and clean. Pretty garden with tables with parasols, a lovely relaxing place to while away an hour or so. Happy to allow dogs in the bar area while you eat supper if they are well behaved, but not in the restaurant. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. Good quality food. Note, large flat-screen TV on in the bar.
