PENARTH Chandlers
The review is written by a local Penarth resident who has been going to Chandlers for over 20 years! Chandlers is a lovely bar/restaurant located on Penarth seafront, with excellent seafront views and seating outside (when weather permits). The bar is very popular with local people, and everyone (including the staff) are very friendly. The bar itself serves local beers and real ales (including the very nice local "VoG") and good wines. The bar has a good bar food menu (particularly the home-made pate and chilli) plus snack foods and coffee. Although dogs are not allowed in the very popular fresh fish and meat restaurant (highly recommended), you can ask to have meals served in the bar area too (if they're not too busy). Overall, a very welcoming dog-friendly bar to have a nice pint whilst watching the boats chug by.
