Our dog Marmite was made to feel very welcome in the restaurant room set aside as dog friendly; The French Room. There was a water bowl in room and a great fuss was made of him and plenty of treats given to him. Ate lunch too which was very good and reasonably priced. There is also a short walk just near the pub with a nice stream which our dog loved and ideal to walk off the lovely food.

Very friendly cafe owner Roger invited us in when it was pouring with rain and we were looking hopefully down the courtyard to the cafe. The dogs were given a plate of bacon and Roger was full fo useful information, suggesting a nice flat and easy but interesting local walk as one of our dogs is quite elderly. Lovely food and great coffee too.

Dogs are allowed in all parts of the pub except for an upstairs 'ballroom' used as a concert venue. The food is good, better than the average 'pub grub', and is served during fixed times at lunch and evening throughout the pub, alongside a very good range of beers. There is often a fire going and plenty of hard flooring if your dog is slightly damp, which can be quite often when you are a Leonberger!

Very nice pub in the middle of the village. The dogs were very welcome and were given Bonio biscuits. The pub is not open on Mondays or Tuesdays. Food is served in all parts of the pub and looked good though we didn't eat there. Outside terrace as well with views.

Been here a couple of times with the dog and always received a good welcome. Dogs are allowed in the non-carpeted part of the bar or in the garden where you can view the canal boats on the canal.
