My wife and I went for lunch Wednesday and found dogs in the bar, a good selection of old ales plus the usual lagers and ciders. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant but there is ample seating in the bar and an adjacent room. I was surprised how busy the place was. The food was well presented and good value, they also do takeaway orders. They have accommodation and take dogs for the night in the rooms.
