Great pub where our dog was made to feel very welcome. We could sit anywhere in the pub, including by the large windows overlooking the harbour and beach. The drinks were cheap but we have been informed that this pub no longer serves food. The staff were incredibly friendly.

Situated on the esplanade with lovely sea views. We have always sat outside with our dog but recently noticed people with dogs inside. We asked the barman if we could bring our dog inside and were informed they now welcome well behaved dogs in non-carpeted areas, which is most of the seating area. We did not eat but food look nice, having a good choice of pizzas, grill and the usual bar food listed on their menu.

Lovely location at end of the cliff top walk from Bridlington to Sewerby Park – a haven for dog walkers. Dogs allowed in the bars where good meals served at reasonable prices. Phone to ensure a bar table is reserved – at busy times. Log fire. Warm welcome and fuss for the dog from the Landlady and staff. Next door to the Sewerby Hall visitor attraction and model village. One not to be missed.

DP Supporter tells Millie that the food is very pleasant and they catered for vegetarians quite well. The landlord is chatty and cares about your experience there. They weren't given any treats or water for the dog but felt sure pub would provide water if asked. Importantly, made to feel very welcome and were seated in a nice part of the pub, next to the fire.

Great garden to run around in. Then you will be more than welcome in the bar, as long as of course, the dog is well behaved. In the Mitchelin guide for its food so food is soopa and there is a very lavish separate restaurant but not overly expensive considering should you ever visit sans dog. Why?! Young publicans have friendly and entertaining pug called Lillie. (formerly the Rampant Horse)

Sunday dinners are big and really tasty with fresh veg and enormous Yorkshire puds!

Stackhouse Bar is a small craft beer and real ale bar in Hornsea on the East Yorkshire coast. Dogs are very welcome at all times and water and dog treats are always available. The owner, manager and most of bar staff have their own dogs and can often be seen in the bar themselves with their dogs when not working. Although there is no food served customers are welcome to bring their own or order from one of the near by takeaways and eat with their drinks. Plates and cutlery are provided. There is a huge park just 5 minutes walk away (Hallgarth Park) which is very good to dog walking plus the beach is only a 10-15 minute walk.

This pub was taken over in 2015 by a very friendly couple and their dog, Harley. This is a fabulous gem. Not only are Gary, Tina and Harley very friendly and welcoming so are the staff and locals. Your dog is bound to be made a fuss of and treats are normally in abundance from the customers. The pub serves great real ales. Food is only served on a Tuesday night but the rest of the time a few sandwiches or sausage rolls may appear. When in Scarborough this is a must to visit. You will keep going back we can guarantee it.
