Very well presented pub with lovely outdoor space and lots of floor space so it doesn't feel cramped when there are lots of dogs. Very dog friendly with access all areas. Doggy bowls of water available and landlord came over to fuss our dogs as he has dogs himself. Great food. The menu is a bit different and uses local suppliers. We ate outside but definitely going back again to eat inside.

Afterwards you can relax in the pub for a drink and a chat or proper lunch. What a good idea; this gets Millies woof of approval.

Lovely traditional bar based within Foxfield railway which is open Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday. Very real ales and ciders, some of which are quite rare to see as they are independently run. Very small cosy bar with coal burner to keep you and your dog nice and warm, on most nights they also cook toast on the stove for the customers. Dogs always very welcome and are made a fuss of and if they are well behaved might even have a sip of beer!

Stars

  • StarsThis icon is for.....

Stars are awarded by YOU.

Please help us get the stars right, they indicate overall dog-friendliness. So a simple pub may deserve 5 Stars, whereas a very smart gastropub may only receive 1, (or visa versa).

Stars represent Your Views, SO...

If you think that one of the listed pubs needs more or less Stars PLEASE just HOVER OVER Rate Pub link AND CLICK THE STARS. Your new rating will get sent to us.

Why have some pubs got no stars?

Because no one has told us yet how many it deserves! Please bear with us while we update the pubs, this may take a little while as there are OVER 7000!

As you can see we do need your help with the new dog-friendly ratings. This is an excellent excuse to visit all the pubs that are local to you and do some serious research. Ideally every pub should be ‘starred and iconned’. Woof, woof!
