Stayed overnight with our Basset Hound. The room was very comfortable, clean and decorated to a high standard. The dogs are allowed in the bar, sitting under our table for our evening meal and at breakfast. There is no extra charge unless the room requires extra cleaning (lots of dog hairs etc). Friendly staff and would happily visit again. The food is great.

A lovely pub with a great atmosphere and many lovely walks nearby. The current managers took over in about August 06 and they are extremely welcoming and friendly. Make it a regular stop when walking in the area and you may meet Venn, one supporter's German Shepherd who is always made to feel very welcome. He even gets served first with his favourite appetiser, ice, of which he gets a small bucket full. Well worth a visit!

Maybe the most dog friendly pub around. It's situated on the Wey Navigation, just downstream of Coxes Lock so plenty of space for quick walk, or a longer one in fields 6 minutes away. From land-side a lovely oasis in the middle of an industrial estate.The landlord is super friendly, and the food is really very good as pub food goes. There's always such a nice atmosphere in there as well.
