What a fantastic place this is. Right by the beach at Trearddur Bay, dogs are lovingly welcomed with treats from numerous jars and with a good number of water bowls, they want for nothing. They are allowed anywhere in this large establishment and on the veranda outside. The food is excellent. Catering for breakfasts, snacks, lunches, evening meals and there's an ice cream parlour too. Open all year round, the staff are delightful. Can't rate the place highly enough. Go experience it.

Not a pub but a very pleasant, tiny and quirky tea room. The owner, Carol, is most welcoming with treats and water bowls for the dogs who are allowed inside. There's ample choice on the menu for a bite to eat, or, if you want just a cake and coffee or tea. A delightful place to end your walk around the Penrhos Coastal Park.

RHOSNEIGR The Oyster Catcher (Wills Bar)
Address: Maelog Lake, Rhosneigr, LL64 5JP
Tel: 01407 812829
Part of the Oyster Catcher restaurant, Will's Bar is situated on the ground floor. We stumbled across it by chance not realising that dogs were allowed until we saw the large bowl of dog treats on the bar. There is a smaller version of the main restaurant menu serving appetisers and main meals. Lovely place to take your dogs right next to great areas to walk.

We've visited this hotel on the two occasions we've been to Anglesey with our dog and have always had the warmest of welcomes. A jar of dog biscuits greets you as you enter and dogs are made very welcome in the lovely bar area. The food is really good, in fact we ate there with some fussy eaters at the weekend and everyone left singing its praises and vowing to return next time we're in Anglesey. Add to all of this the special ales on offer and we have to say its our favourite place to visit when we're on the island with our dog.

We regularly take our dog in both Lounge and Vault where he's made very welcome. There is also a beer garden at the rear. They usually have a couple of very nice cask ales and water bowls for dogs.

Stars are awarded by YOU.
Please help us get the stars right, they indicate overall dog-friendliness. So a simple
pub may deserve 5 Stars, whereas a very smart gastropub may only receive 1, (or visa versa).
Stars represent Your Views, SO...
If you think that one of the listed pubs needs more or less Stars PLEASE just HOVER OVER Rate Pub link AND CLICK THE STARS. Your new rating will get sent to us.
Why have some pubs got no stars?
Because no one has told us yet how many it deserves! Please bear with us while we update the pubs, this may take a little while as there are OVER 7000!
As you can see we do need your help with the new dog-friendly ratings. This is an excellent excuse to visit all the pubs that are local to you and do some serious research. Ideally every pub should be ‘starred and iconned’. Woof, woof!
