Sat out in the garden and saw several dogs lazing about under their owners tables (with the exception of one pup that was happily chewing the table leg) Water dishes out for thirsty dogs and enough room between tables to not feel cramped. I had the biggest beef rib I've ever see. It was so tender it slipped off the bone. Would recommend for a nice lazy Sunday lunch. Great pub in the heart of the village of Chineham. It has a large bar area with lots of seating where dogs are allowed. A delightful pub, set in idyllic surroundings with the River Loddon passing through the pub garden. Dogs welcome both inside and outside and some likes a quick dip with the ducks whilst we have a bite to eat and chill out. Lovely food, ales and doggy bowls, next to the pub is a large open field to play ball and also includes a play park for children as well.
We would most definitely visit again. They were extremely welcoming and friendly, and size wasn't an issue, as our 2 Bernese mountain dogs were wonderfully fussed over; they even have dog biscuits behind the bar.
