Recently refurbished, very dog friendly each time. Dogs are allowed in the main bar where there is comfortable seating and tables, or outside pub, which is covered. Food very good, although sometimes portions slightly small (except the steak which is always plentiful). The beer is good!

After ourselves being recommended about the Oakley Arms Hotel's Sunday lunch carvery, we tried it today. Excellent value for money (1 course £9.95, 2 courses £12.95), and great quality Sunday roast. We enjoyed the beef (in fact could have had a bit of everything) and the nut roast.
Friendly staff greeted us on arrival and couldn't do enough for us. We'll undoubtedly be regulars on Sundays. Definitely recommend you give the Oakley a try. Oh, and to cap it off, they're dog friendly so our little dog Edie was able to join us. Others were enjoying dining with their four-legged friends too, so I'd recommend you book a table so as not to be disappointed.

Although not a pub thought you really should know about this wonderful little cafe/bistro we visited. We popped in for a coffee and cake and the food, staff and welcome was first class. We always look for dog friendly places and sat outside but were told that we could have gone in with our little Chinese Cresty Jade who by the way was given her own little snacks of biscuits. Highly recommend a visit and as we are local we will be back soon to have a meal from their very enticing menu. Great to find a 4 legged friendly place to visit.

Great restaurant in the older part of Caernarfon. We asked if we could sit outside with Ralph but were told he was welcome to go inside (I think until 3pm, outside all day). He was greeted with dog biscuits and we had really good pizza and crab salad. The all day breakfasts coming out of the kitchen looked pretty good too.

A very nice surprise to find such a lovely welcoming pub that accepts dogs. The pub dates back a few hundred years from being a coaching house.
After walking along the nearby waterfalls, a warm fire and a great selection of good food and drink went down well. Dogs allowed in the lower bar area. Service was quick and courteous. Will be back again soon.

I used this App and went in the Alpine Cafe (dog friendly). When I was leaving I looked in the window of this place and noticed 3 dogs at different tables so obviously dog friendly. I have just checked TripAdvisor and it has excellent food and ambiance ratings so I have given it 4 stars. I would certainly give it a try if I am in the area again.

Found this on the way home from holidays at 7pm on a Sunday evening. Walked in asking if they were serving and if they'd serve us outside as we had our 13mth beagle pup with us. Husband and wife team welcomed all three of us inside so warmly, "we don't expect you to sit outside, come on in" was the response! Food was lovely, tasty and filling and really good quality. Clean and comfortable dining area. Another family was there with their collie tucked under the table. Really really impressed, can't recommend highly enough!!
