There are some great walks in the area and the beers are well kept and the food is absolutely delicious.
Well worth a visit but it's off of the main High Street so make sure you look for the sign posts.

Bowls of water outside the front door, the true sign of a Doggie Pub. Very welcoming atmosphere and lovely old fashioned decor with exposed stone walls and flagged floors. Excellent food all cooked from scratch and a list of local suppliers appears on the menu. Gets very busy so service is sometimes slow but always good natured. Dogs allowed in bar and in the covered courtyard dining area although the downside is that's where children are put as well. If you book a table tell them you have a dog as some areas reserved. Fantastic walks in the area.

This historic country inn is just a short drive from central Croydon, near Biggin Hill, but it's out in the country, so a great place to go for a dog walk. There's a large outdoor area with tables and chairs and on fine weather days. The outside Burger Shack is open. Dogs on leads are also welcome inside, where there's a good menu freshly prepared by the chefs; steak and chips, and fish and chips are a speciality. This place is really good if you want to leave your car to go off and explore then come back for a meal or a drink. Do book if you want food as it's very popular.

Wow, a beautiful pub in great location. As soon as we entered we were warmly greeted. Dog ice cream for sale and pawsecco too plus a great menu for the humans.
